African Youth Gather in Addis for a Media & Advocacy Training Camp

Twenty youth from seven African countries attended a five-day Speak Africa media and advocacy training camp in Ethiopia from 22-26 August 2008.
Speak Africa 7-day Media Training Exercise

Speak Africa in collaboration with the Ethiopian Ministry of Information conducted a seven-day media training for 60 youth from around the country. The youth were provided with training in print, radio, video, photography as well as use of new media. These four video clips were produced by the Ethiopian youth as part of their training exercise. The video clips deal with:
# 1. Gender equality - Slogan Vs Reality
# 2. Long road to school
# 3. As you sow so shall you reap
# 4. Need to create disability awareness
