All Hail King Obama!
The world is chanting his name and singing his praises, all media coverage and reports about him is positive, he is definitely the man of the moment. He has not only made the US shine with ambition but he has also inspired hope into a lot of African hearts.
With people comparing him to likes of Matin Luther King and saying that he is a real dream come true for many across the globe. As the first black state president of the USA all eyes and ears are on him to really instill change and deliver on all his promises.
His speech was very heartfelt and exposed his plans and motives for his days of presidency but I think its very unfair that all world problems are put on his desk for him to sort out! The anticipation is very high, the curiosity is murderous people cant wait, but is it every single one of us?
Knowing the corruption and conspiracy of politics already there are those who are hungry for his blood and cant actually wait for him to stumble so that they can jump in for the kill.
With so much to do I really hope that he is successful in all that he has to do because we all know its not an easy task but through it all we guarantee him that he has our full support and we with him all the way!

African Sovereignty and Land Reclamation are Non-Negotiable
I support the recent call by the All-African People’s Revolutionary Party (AAPRP) calls for the progressive and revolutionary forces throughout the African world to join the call in demanding the immediate abolishment of the immoral and illegal sanctions against the African masses in Zimbabwe. So-called targeted sanctions enacted by the European Union, Australia and the U.S. (through the latter’s Zimbabwe Democracy and Economic Recovery Act) have imposed tremendous hardship on our African brothers and sisters in Zimbabwe.
This hardship has been imposed through acts of economic and political terrorism simply because of the decision made by our people to take control over our own historic
destiny and forward development, in a manner that is counter to the interests of imperialist and zionist political-economic forces.
The recent Power Sharing Agreement between the ruling ZANU-PF and the two Movement for Democratic Change (MDC) factions, brokered by the regional body, Southern African Development Community (SADC), continued the developing positive trend of Africans moving to resolve our own problems without outside control. African people
must support the spirit of this development despite the current impasse, personal issues with the parties involved or the negative propaganda from western media in its attempts at continued destabilization of Zimbabwe and Africa .
Every inch of African soil (including Zimbabwe ) that has been stolen by foreign colonizers must be reclaimed and distributed or redistributed among African people on the basis of just, collective principles.
The sanctions against the people of Zimbabwe can be made irrelevant through the creation of a Socialist All-African Union Government. The social, economic and political destiny of Africa must be determined exclusively by the African people themselves. To achieve this objective, the AAPRP call is calling for:
- The African Union to immediately move to heed the call of Osageyfo Kwame Nkrumah to establish an African High Command to protect the collective interests of the african continent and the formation of a Socialist All-African Union Government (Revolutionary Pan-Africanism).
- The African Union and all of the member states to resolve to ban, in word and action, all foreign interference into the political and economic affairs of Africa .
- The land reclamation and nationalization movement must be extended to all the areas of mineral exploration where large deposits of gold, copper, tin and other industrial metals are found in all of Africa .
- African people to join or support the AAPRP or join or support an African organization that is fighting for the liberation of African people.
- African people to build African United Fronts (coalitions of African organization) to promote greater ideological and organizational unity in our communities.
The control over the resources of Africa must be regained by the African people and used only for the development and advancement of Africa and African interests. The resources of Africa and African Sovereignty are non-negotiable. Forward!

Worst Nightmare Part 1
I have not noticed close to nothing about the signs of a religious conflict in Ethiopia before the previous week.Last week when the government media generally reported, that there are signs of individual attempts to preliminary religious conflicts. I was relieved when it was reported that a subsequent high-level meeting among religious leaders was done, I was shocked and felt happy nothing too bad did not happen.
I right away started to talk with different friends and people from diverse religious backgrounds and finally found out many people have-not been as surprised as I was. Some had prior guesses from what they have observed and could see the atmosphere getting different. However, even from people which list expected this kind of issue, I have observed the fact that they become involved and being concerned overwhelms them.
Views may vary as we choose it, our life style might differ since it has things we choose, but when we come to religion, it is fact that individuals tend to be emotional. That is why I think, we should all be aware to be on the right track (the right mind setup) and to help others weigh religious conflicts.
It is actually logical to find people get aware and concerned about such Identity matters since it matters and is more close to anyone than another sort of groupings and belongings they socially consider important. Especially for society like our selves, religion is they are important for the majority, if not for all.
It is fertile ground for manipulation and being a potential source of serious problems if people get expressive than being commonsensical about it. I do not personally believe the issue is in the heart of enough no of people in any religious group to be an urgent risk. However, I believe we should all start to contribute to perpetuate the century old brotherhood that coexisted in the country by freely discussing about it and finding a common ground that wouldn’t easily manipulated by emotional people from all sides.
As many others are saying and think, the solution lies in tolerance. It is true that tolerance is the key ,However I think we have to think of what do we mean by tolerance and how it is expressed to mean what we intend.
I am trying to read about what tolerance is and what is not? I will get back to write about tolerance and would appreciate your reflections on what tolerance is. In addition, I am sure we will use this forum to discuss another possible solution to avoid such worst nightmare in our country!
