Fantaye & Zewde: 1: Monitoring the immunization of the childern

The photograph shows the work that we health extension workers do in Banja District, Kesachewsa kebele health post do with regard to immunization of children under the age of five, twice a month, to prevent eight killer diseases, Diptheria, Pertusis, Tetanus, Polio, Tuberculosis, Measles, Hepatitis b, and influenza – collecting the information on these vaccinations from our monthly reports and placing them on our monitoring chart. So far this year we have provided vaccination against these eight diseases to 89 children. There are 1025 heads of households in our kebele (sub district or village).
