Well i had to give my brief synopsis on the "democracy in Dakar" i got the dvd i met the creator a very humble dude who i linked with via the internet a couple of years ago. Its always good to meet people especially if they share the same vision as you.

As a youth growing up i constantly found struggles fitting in with the group that was the standout people as i grew i eventually learned that its important for me to be me.We all know the past history of south africa how we were labeled and oppressed made to hate not just on the basis of race but devided in many ways by tribes,religion,belief etc etc.We have forwarded roughly 15 years yet it feels

As i listen to these chants,war cries for freedom for equality.It seems under apartheid we were stronger happier Africans.What i have learned from life is that our struggles unify us and with unity comes love,comes peace,comes a quest to be treated and to treat others as equal.With freedom came greed,came tribalism.Those whippings created riffles whereby we all felt the pain when someone got beate

hip hop and its influence

I love how hip hop reached every corner of the world how the art informed us about the lives of the bucktown natives,how the art confused many of us and how it resurrected thought and new scholars that would ultimately change the course of planet earth.
