Belongings is part of Africa 2007, a long-term programmed of cultural interaction to      connect people in Africa and UK.

Belonging creates the opportunity for young people from Africa and the UK to explore identity and community through a series of international exchange. It uses a bold, simple design to provide creative individuals with the opportunity with their home community’s .Young people taking part in the exchanges record experiences in their communities at home, pack bags with objects reflecting those experiences, and then share these with others on their journeys. On returning projects and sharing the experience of there journeys. Me and three of my friends went to UK for this program .It was wonderful, I can say successful and unforgettable. For the all days we where wearing our cultural clothes and we also used traditional jewelries. We where happy , feel confident and all of us where considered ourselves “AMBASSADER for our country”.

Thats the way to go...Noone should forget our ROOTS....We should always be proud of our origin. Glad you took that step. Congras!!!
