BRAVO! Beijing
In the opening and closing ceremony of the 29th Olympic we watched many children performing different kinds of arts together with the professionals, like the little girl who have performed in the stage with the great Chinese musician. In such a historical event where nations, even in conflict, are playing sports together and set aside political differences, it would really mean great to them. Since we agree that they are the coming generations and we hope for a better future such kinds of practical events are very necessary. It would be easy to tell them they can be together with all their differences but to show them how to be together with all our differences is another thing.
“ … You have shown us the unifying power of sport, …” said the President of the international Olympic committee, in his speech on the closing ceremony of the Beijing Olympics. In my own point of view, they have also shown for children it is possible to be together in peace even with our political, racial or any other differences. So I would like to say Beijing ‘ well done’. Oh! Sorry! Bravo is the word I choose first. Bravo! Bravo! Beijing.
